Intel will launch two new Core i7 products tomorrow.
We are not that excited, as we wrote about them many times, and 975 will now get Intel's quad-core Nehalem based CPU to 3.33GHz. This CPU will replace Core i7 965 that will get phased out. Core i7 975 will be selling for $999 and since its Extreme edition it should be quite nice overclocker.
The second speed update is Core i7 950 and this one is set
to replace Core i7 940 clocked at 2.93GHz. Core i5 950 will work at 3.06GHz and
it will sell for $562 at launch.
Both CPUs have a massive TDP of 130W, but since they are ultra
high-end, you should have to tolerate this number.
Without a doubt Core i7 975 will be the fastest but the most
expensive CPU on the market for any desktop PC.
