Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is the first phone outside Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ to use the Snapdragon 845 chip and in a Fudzilla test it did really well. Some people will want to get the the Mi6 successor, which might be imaginatively titled the Mi 7 and there is an indication that this might happen on May 23.

It is all set and Xiaomi is launching its first Snapdragon 845 based Mi MIX 2S phone in Shanghai on March 27, the same date when Huawei is presenting its P20 phones. The next in line from Xiaomi is the Mi7.

More RAM and massive battery

While Xiaomi has previously promised that we will see the Mi 7 at the MWC 2018 show, recent rumors suggest that the announcement has been pushed back. Nevertheless, this did not stop more leaks so we now have a bit more rumors about its specifications, including the amount of RAM and battery details.

Leaves it for a separate event

Xiaomi will reportedly keep its upcoming Mi 7 flagship for a separate event and won't unveil it at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2018 show in Barcelona.

With Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC

While the Mi 6 has been around for just a few months, a recent leak suggests that Xiaomi could launch the successor as early as Q1 2018.
