The creator of Gran Turismo 5 recently said that the game could be released at any time, but Amazon’s official North American listing has spilled the beans, or at least sparked some rumors.

The site says Gran Turismo 5 will be launched on Tuesday, December 29th, 2009, which adds even more weight as publishers seem to like Tuesdays. If you cross-reference this with another spill by one of Sony execs who said how GT5 will hit the shelves on Xmas, it seems almost certain, but we guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, Amazon has been known to pull feats like this when no actual date has been given and they just list it as available for preorder, so we’ll have to wait for official word from Sony.
