A new analysis from Frost & Sullivan claims Eastern Europe is slowly becoming a significant Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) hub, and OEM outsourcing is to blame.
Some of the other significant factors influencing growth are low labor costs, rapid economic growth, EU expansion and significant foreign investments in the region.
The report claims the electronics manufacturing services market in Eastern Europe earned revenues of $9.0 billion in 2006 and estimates this to reach $23.7 billion in 2013. That is a lot of money.
