What was called an “outage” by those evil magazines who persecute those who worship the great Apple Messiah Steve Jobs meant that many of the faithful were unable to make purchases from the App Store, iTunes Store, iBooks Store or Mac App Store. Consumers turned to Twitter to vent their unhappiness, under the hashtag #appstoredown.
There were some who believed that the the outage was caused because Steve Jobs had turned his back on Apple after releasing a fairly useless iWatch. Others felt that the iWatch was great, but Jobs did not like the move to phablets.
Apple issued a statement this morning apologizing for the outage and said the cause was an internal domain name server error at Apple.
“We’re working to make all of the services available to customers as soon as possible, and we thank everyone for their patience,” the company said.
Yep one domain name server bought down the whole company. Networking skills, still you get what you pay for.
