According to G.Skill, the Z5i is a uniquely crafted mini-ITX PC case with curved 4mm tempered glass panels that wrap around a single-piece aluminum exterior frame, forming a 5-sided case. It features a dual-chamber design, showing the internal hardware from both sides of the case. The Z5i has a bottom-facing motherboard I/O panel that allows cables to be neatly managed.
When it comes to hardware support, G.Skill did a great job for such a small case, as it supports a 280mm AIO radiator or two 140mm case fans in the rear, triple-slot 330mm long graphics cards, and support for two 2.5-inch SSDs and third convertible 2.5"/3.5" SSD/HDD drive.
The G.Skill Z5i also features two USB 3.1 and one USB 3.1 Type-C port on the front panel, as well as integrates ARGB lighting for ambient underglow via standard 3-pin 5V RGB header.
G.Skill was keen to note that its Z5i mini-ITX PC case got both the "iF Design Award 2021" and "Red Dot Design Award 2021". Unfortunately, G.Skill did not reveal any details about the price or the precise availability date, but we will surely keep an eye out for this one.
