According to G.Skill, these are the world’s first 64GB DDR5-8000 high-capacity memory modules, offering speeds of 8,000 MT/s and timings of CL44-58-58-128. G.Skill is pairing these two in 128GB (2x64GB) kits, aiming at content creators, workstation users, and AI-driven applications.. These memory kits are not likely to appeal to casual PC users, as most do not need 128GB across two modules. Additionally, these modules will be offered in both the Trident Z5 and the Trident Z5 Royal NEO series.
G.Skill has validated these new modules on an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X system with the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Apex motherboard.
In addition to the 64GB DDR5 modules, G.SKILL has also unveiled new DDR5-9000 2x32GB memory kits. These high-end kits reach speeds of 9,000 MT/s and feature timings of CL48-64-64-144. The memory modules were tested on an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 APEX motherboard.
Unfortunately, G.SKILL has not yet revealed the pricing details for these new memory kits. However, it’s expected that they will be available soon.
