Priced at INR 45,699, or around US $715, which is a bit high considering the announced US $549 MSRP, the 8-core/16-thread Threadripper 1900X has been leaked by Indian retailer PrimeABGB and spotted by Techpowerup.com.
The SKU works at 3.8GHz base and 4.0GHz Turbo clocks. The retailer also lists that the Threadripper 1900X has 512KB of L2 and 16MB of L3 cache, which means that AMD could have enabled two cores per each CPU Core Complex (CCX), leaving the Threadipper 1900X with a 2+2+2+2 core configuration.
The SKU still supports quad-channel DDR4 memory and has 64 PCIe lanes, but the TDP still remains a mystery, but we suspect it could be in the 100W to 120W range.
The 8-core/16-thread Ryzen Threadripper 1900X could go against Intel's US $599 priced Core i7-7820X SKU, offering better multi-threaded performance at a lower price point.
