Just recently, the CPU-Z team has been working on the next version of its famous CPU information utility and promises to bring a few favorable new features along with it.
Based on the first preview screenshot, the dialog size has been slightly widened to fit the new Intel logos that we wrote about here and here. The team has also added a “Validation” button at the bottom to make the CPU validation process a little easier.
One of the more noticeable features is the inclusion of a new “Graphics” tab, which will provide basic GPU and bandwidth information, although this information is already reported in the validation pages.
Finally, the team is planning to add a native 64-bit version of the utility which we are definitely looking forward to. The release of CPU-Z 1.52 sometime in the next month, so stay tuned for more information and new screenshots on the CPUID website.
