It looks like AMD has managed to surprise us all, and launch Regor dual core, Propus L3 cachless Quad and Rana, yet another L3 cachless but this time Triple core in late Q2.

This was the plan all along, and although AMD has informed many of its partners that it won´t make it until Q3, many of these interesting CPUs should launch in the last month of Q2.

AMD wants to use the Computex momentum and all of these 45nm CPUs will be 45W energy efficient editions, as AMD believes that there is a big interest in this market.

We expect to see Athlon X4 600e, Athlon X3 400e and Athlon X2 200e series showing their faces next week at Computex. We are not sure if this launch is only the means to please the investors or AMD plans to have many of these CPUs as of next week, but it might happen that the real volumes can show up in Q3 which starts in a month time, July.
