AMD finally has a dual core in 45nm and this Regor core will launch at 3GHz. AMD packed some nice ammo as the CPU will have 65W and has 1MB L2 cache per core, but it lacks L3.

The CPU is reported to be small, but we don´t have any size measurements. This CPU officially supports DDR3 1066 and fits in socket AM3. Our sources have whispered that it should cost under $90 and that it should launch and be available on Tuesday, first day of Computex.

As we said in our previous report, the company will also launch Phenom II X2 550, based on Calisto core and this 3.1GHz CPU will have 2x512KB L2 cache and 6MB L3 and should be selling for around $100. Don't forget that Phenom II
X2 550 is unlocked and it’s a Black Edition CPU, which means overclocking galore.
