Computer Shopper low, mid and high-end

The Inquirer reports AMD pulled off a feat we must admit we haven’t seen in a while, which is beat Intel in all three categories – low end, mid range and high end. The battle went down in Computer Shopper magazine’s test where British Mesh Computers won all three awards with their AMD based offerings.

We won’t go as far as to claim that AMD is on top, as you needn’t be a sage to realize that it’s still far from it, but AMD is certainly coming up with a nice offer that’s priced nicely and affordably given the performance. AMD will probably keep fighting Intel with prices, as Intel’s sleeve is still quite full of aces, but it’s the bang-per-buck ratio that might very well keep them competitive.

Mesh Computers’ sales and marketing director Tony ‘Rock Hard’ Riccardi mentioned that twenty two years in the business taught the company to like whatever their customers prefer, despite not trying to lean towards one company or another. He added how AMD simply has a “credible offering at a number of different price points and the value is really impressive.”
