AMD's unlocked Phenom 9600 Black Edition has been listed on several European retail and e-tail sites this morning.

Prices range from €216 to more than €240, but we're guessing it will end up priced at around €220, since the 9500 and the plain 9600 sell for €170 and €200, respectively.

As you probably know, the Black Edition CPU has an unlocked multiplier and that's about the thing that sets it apart from the regular 9600. and the fact that it ships in a cool black box.

The new CPU is still unavailable but don't despair, the retailer sites claim they will have it in stock within a day or two.
