Americas largest etailer Newegg appears to have a batch of QX6850 processors and is selling them for redicilously high $1350 a piece. For this you will get an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 Kentsfield 3.0GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor – Retail box that will includes an Intel stock cooler inside.

Intel’s price for this piece of marchitecture is $970 so we believe that Newegg is making a lot of money off the enthusiasts who take the plunge.
