The Exynos powered Samsung Galaxy Note 7 starts at € 849 in the German market. This is not really cheap, but at least the phone comes with 64GB storage which should be more than enough for most people.

Samsung has revealed its 5.7 inch curved AMOLED phone that comes with its new iris scanner and as was the case with Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge it will ship with both Snapdragon 820 and Exynos depending on the market. 

November, 6GB RAM

It looks like MediaTek wants to get on board with 6GB RAM phones and the Helio P20 platform may well be the first one to support it.

Samsung will launch its Galaxy Note 7 today and it will stream events. The latest info is that the phone comes with Exynos 8890, the similar to what we’ve seen in S7 and S7 Edge but we have heard that there will be a Snapdragon version too. 

Android 7.0 Nougat and Snapdragon 821

LG has confirmed that the successor to the V10 called the V20 will launch in September with Android Nougat 7.0. This is, most likely,  one more Snapdragon 821 design win. 

Qualcomm's CEO confirmed it

Last week Qualcomm’s CEO  confirmed to its investors that the company has taped out its 10nm system on a chip (SoC).

Ends in a divorce

Tesla just ended its long term relations with Israeli based Mobileye. This comes as a rather sudden and unexpected shock as Mobileye is the company behind Tesla’s now very famous autopilot.
