Just like the Samsung Galaxy S7, the Note 7 for European customers comes with the 64-bit Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor that has 4x 2.30GHz Mongoose M1 cores + 4x 1.60GHz Cortex-A53, Samsung own LTE Cat 12 / Cat 13 modem and Mali-T880 MP12 GPU.
The phone supports micro SD too for extra storage, and amongst its notable qualities it has an iris scanner and it is IP68-certified. Note 7 is also the world’s first phone supporting Gorilla Glass 5, a new protection glass that should protect your phone from accidents dropping it, 80 percent of the time.
Gorilla Glass 5 may even protect your phone from drops on asphalt from 1.6 meters, and Note 5 is the first to come with it. Unfortunately, this is not really a cheap phone, but the Note series phones were always on the expensive side.
Galaxy Note 7 should start shipping from August 18 and it is important to note that USA, China and Japan customers will get this phone powered by the Snapdragon 820.
