In addition to being the first phone with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which brings on-device AI and some other improvements, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro gets dual front 32MP selfie cameras with Leica branding, something that you don't see on smartphones these days.
Built around a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 2750x1236 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro also gets the new 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired up with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, so it should perform quite well. There is also a 4,700mAh battery with 67W charging, and a rather big vapor chamber to keep that SoC well-cooled. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14.
In addition to dual front 32MP selfie cameras, behind 78-degree FoV f/2.0 and 100-degree FoV f/2.4 lenses, in a pill-shaped cut-out, it also gets the so-called OmniVision Light Fusion 800 main sensor on the back, which is the 50MP one with OIS-stabilization, behind f/1.63 Leica Summilux lens. The main sensor is paired up with another 50MP sensor with a 2x telephoto lens, and 12MP one behind an ultra-wide lens.
Unfortunately, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is currently only announced in China with no word on global availability, but so far it looks like a great phone with some unique features that could be interesting to some buyers, especially since it comes with a rather affordable starting price of CNY2,999 ($415/€380), and a wide range of colors.
