Xiaomi strikes European deal with Hutchison 3

Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Sweden and UK

Xiaomi has big plans for 2018. It started with the IPO that might value the company anywhere between $80 to $100 billion and it plans a massive European expansion.

There are some indications of Xiaomi retail shops in Austria and France before the end of  May. In a separate event, Xiaomi just signed one of its most important deals with Hutchison Telecom, the company behind  3 networks in Europe.

The deal will let Xiaomi  start selling its phone on 3 networks in Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, UK and its native Hong Kong. This is an instant solution to cover big chunks of Europe. Huawei has made huge moves on the European market in the last few years, especially the eastern European countries, and Xiaomi has devices that can challenge the big Huawei at lower prices.

Xiaomi phones will also be available in Watson's Fortress, Superdrug, and Kruidvat stores in Hong Kong, Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands.

Xiaomi became available from a lot of etailers in many countries in European states. You can buy them officially for a while, and of course for the last few years, companies like Gearbest and Geekbuying have shipped from their China, HK or even European warehouses.

A company that managed to grow 116 percent year over year, is worthy of your attention and a company that launched only eight years ago has managed to become the number four company by the brand.
