Nokia’s first PureView Windows phone might be just a few weeks away. The Lumia EOS is said to feature a 41 megapixel camera of PureView 808 fame.
The PureView 808 was the company’s last Symbian phone and it wasn’t much of a success, but it did feature arguably the best camera ever slapped on a smartphone. The rumoured Lumia EOS is a Windows Phone 8 affair with a 720p 4.5-inch display, although the specs should be taken with a grain of salt.
It will feature the same 41 megapixel sensor, but in a somewhat slimmer package, which sounds logical, as the PureView 808 was fat enough to have its own reality show on TLC.
In any case Nokia is now rumoured to launch the Lumia EOS on July 9, so we won’t have to wait long to see what it cooked up.
