According to a post over at BGR.com, it appears that HTC plans to unveil a new flagship smartphone, code-named M7, at the Consumer Electronics Show that kicks on January 8th in Las Vegas.
The rumor originally showed up at XDA-Developers forum member that had some insight with previous HTC releases and it appears that we are looking at the successor to the One X. It should end up with a 4.7-inch 1920x1080 screen, 1.7GHz clocked quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, 13-megapixel rear camera, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity, Beats Audio and a 2,300mAh battery.
HTC had quite a few problems in 2012 and has lost a significant chunk of market share, so we hope that the M7 can turn things around for the embattled phone maker.
