The Optimus G should be launched on September 19 and the spec was already made public in late August. Basically we are looking at a 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 4.7-inch 1280x768 screen with in-cell touch technology and 32GB of storage, all packed into a an 8.45mm body.

Several European retailers are already listing it for €599, but there is no availability date and preorders are still out of the question, but at least the price is all but confirmed.

So, if you want the fastest processor on the market, the Optimus G might be worth a look. However, if you want timely software updates, you should probably steer clear of LG altogether.
