It appears like the iPhone family is set to get a big brother, and when we say big – we don’t mean iPad “big”, we mean packing-512MB-big.
The iPad, as you probably already know, isn’t quite a performer in pretty much any field you can think of, and this is often attributed to the 256MB of memory it packs, something the upcoming jewel from the crown of Steve Jobs is set to change.
The iPhone 4 will feature 512MB of memory, which is at the same time double the amount on iPhone 3GS and iPad devices and Macrumor says that this should finally solve lack of multitasking and other features.
We’re not sure how iPad users should take this, though, as someone has to break the news that their stylish device is pretty much a brick compared to the upcoming iPhone. On the other hand, we’re pretty sure that they’ll have iPad 2 in sight buy then – and they’ll love it. And they’ll want it. And ‘round and ‘round it goes.
