Our sources are whispering to us today that it is likely that AT&T will launch the eagerly awaited BlackBerry 9700 on October 25th. In addition, it looks like the White BlackBerry Bold 9000 will also arrive at the same time.

It seems that Verizon is also poised to launch the Storm 2 on October 25th, as well, according to what our sources hear. We can confirm that the Storm 2 is testing at Verizon and we know that they are eager to get it out for the holiday season, so it does seem reasonable that this is correct.

Looks like the holiday season is really shaping up to be good for RIM if they are able to get these out the door on time. Like every launch, however, a lot will have to do with carrier technical acceptance testing and if the devices pass for release. We will have to see what happens, but our sources seem to think it is a done deal for October 25th.
