The new HTC Diamond touch II should be available as of April 15th, and it can already be preordered here. In the UK it will sell for £414.99 and since we’ve seen the device a few days ago, we can tell it works much faster and it doesn’t feature the laggy UI, that was one of the most frustrating features of the previous model.
This model has more RAM, something that Windows Mobile 6.1
really appreciates, and we can tell that there is no Windows 6.1 interface, even
with some more advanced settings as HTC replaced this completely with its touch
flow 3D interface.
The new phone is a big
step forward and as we’ve reported yesterday it will come with a free upgrade
to Windows mobile 6.5. The HTC Diamond Touch PRO II comes later, by the middle of the year.
