Palm is about to launch a new smartphone in Europe on the 12th of September, although we don't know much about it, but it could well be the European version of the Centro.

What we do know is that Palm is running a competition for people in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and Italy, who have the chance to win one out of five smartphones.

The only giveaway one the site is this "The word is, it's great for email, mobile internet, instant messaging, text and - with a full keyboard - saying what you really mean."
