OCZ has announced its new Intel Extreme DDR3 SODIMMs for Centrino 2 notebooks and these will come as a 4GB kit working at 1066MHz and with tight latencies. The new kit will support Intel Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP).

The new SODIMM 4GB kit works at 1066MHz with 6-6-6-16 latencies and at a rather low 1.6 Volts. This kit should give an additional boost to Intel's mobile Centrino 2 platform.

The new kit should be available soon, and will be backed by a lifetime warranty.
