Marwan Fawaz will become an advisor to Nest as it's folded into Google's home division, according to a report on Cnet.
A VP at Google said the move is a logical step to integrate all those “smart” things the search giant is engaged in but the Nest brand won't disappear, according to Rishi Chandra.
No jobs will be lost, according to Google and Marwan's role in integrating Nest with Google was applauded by a spokesman for the mother ship.
Google paid $3.2 billion for Nest in 2014.
