Optimizations for a couple of new games and performance improvements

Intel has released the latest version of its Arc GPU driver, the 101.5379 Beta, which brings Game On support for a couple of new games including Diablo IV Ray Tracing Update, Dragon's Dogma 2, Horizon Forbidden West, and The Legend of the Condor Heroes, as well as performance improvements across Intel Arc A-series graphics products and Intel Core Ultra with Intel Arc GPUs.

According to rather extensive release notes, the new Arc GPU 101.5379 Beta driver adds Game On support for those four games mentioned above, but also adds impressive performance improvements reaching anywhere from 172 down to 6 percent on Intel Arc A-series graphics products. The games that these improvements come to include the new Dragon's Dogma 2, Horizon Forbidden West, but also Assassin's Creed Origins, Fortnite, God of War, Sons of the Forest, and others.

Intel has also improved performance on its Intel Core Ultra CPUs with Intel Arc GPUs in those same games.

The new Arc GPU 101.5379 Beta driver also fixes a couple of issues, including crashing in Counter Strike 2 and DOTA 2 on Intel Arc A-series GPUs and issues with Alan Wake 2 and Serif Affinity Photo 2 on Intel Core Ultra CPUs with Intel Arc GPUs.

You can download the new Arc Graphics 101.4885 Beta driver over at Intel's support page.
