AMD brags about Forza Motorsport 7 optimizations

Radeon Software 17.9.3 driver offers 4K 60FPS on RX 580

After an initial report that AMD Radeon series graphics cards, especially the RX Vega series, are offering great performance in Forza Motorsport 7 game, AMD has now officially started to brag about it, saying that it offers 4K 60FPS gameplay on RX 580 graphics card.

According to AMD's own performance numbers, the Radeon RX Vega 56 can hit up to 90 FPS while the Radeon RX 580 is enough for 60 FPS at 4K resolution, all thanks to the latest Radeon Software 17.9.3 driver. AMD went further saying that both the RX 560 and RX 570 are enough to get 63 FPS and 95 FPS at a more reasonable 1080p resolution.

The earlier report that came from Computerbase.de, showed that AMD RX Vega series graphics card managed to beat Nvidia's GTX 1080/1080 Ti graphics cards on almost all resolutions, offering much better overall performance.

The new benchmark slides were posted over at AMD's Radeon blog and as we wrote earlier, AMD will hopefully include some of those optimizations in future games as well.
