Spotted in a Reddit thread by Techpowerup.com, the pictured GTX 1060 uses a reference design and comes with a short PCB, similar to the GTX 960. It also features a blower-style dual-slot cooler with similar design to the GTX 1080/1070, although much more simpler.
There aren't any specification details but earlier rumors suggested it should be based on the GP106 GPU wiuth 1280 CUDA cores and pack 6GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with 192-bit memory interface.
This should be enough to put pressure on AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 480 as it will end up with similar performance, somewhere between the GTX 970 and GTX 980.
In any case, it appears that the launch date for the Geforce GTX 1060 has been pushed forward so we could see them in retail/e-tail soon.
