AMD has released Catalyst 10.9 drivers packed with several performance tweaks, but few new features.
Stalker: Call of Pripyat will see a performance boost of up to 20 percent for HD 5800 users, while HD 5700 users will get a performance increase of up to 12 percent.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena should also run a bit smoother, both on 5000-series boards and the venerable HD 4800 series. Several fixes and catalyst application profiles have also been included in the new driver.
AMD has also announced a partnership with Valve, so the new drivers should be available through Steam as well.
