Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Zoo Tycoon will be the Microsoft published titles that will lead the charge for the new console at release. Beyond those titles, a generous number of third party titles such as Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Madden 25, FIFA 14, and Need for Speed Rivals will be among those 3rd party titles that will be on dealer shelves for purchase on launch day.
Microsoft is expecting additional titles to be released in the run up to the end of the year. In the end sources tell us that with the expected Xbox Live Arcade releases, Xbox One owners should have about 20+ games to choose from between release day and the end of the year. That number is down a little as several titles that were targeted for release didn’t come together in time. Of course that seems to be the story with every console release, so we can’t say as we are surprised.
