We finally might know when we can expect Diablo 3 to show up. Internet retailer Amazon has it listed on its site for an April 17th release date. The date agrees with what other sources have been telling us for the past couple of days, so we think this release date is likely.

On the other hand, you might not want to get too excited, as Blizzard has yet to officially confirm that this will be the release date. Instead, the developer continues to say that it is targeting a second quarter release this year for Diablo 3.

Sources indicate, however, that the title does seem to be on track to make that release window. Blizzard’s own community managers have assured fans that the title is in “great shape,” but again failed to provide any specifics beyond the standard company line.
