As we told you sometime back, Microsoft has finally confirmed its intention to roll out what is being called the Xbox Game Room. The Xbox Game Room is a retro-themed environment that will allow players to play classic games.

From what we understand, a variety of classic Atari and Intellivision titles will be among the games that will be playable. In addition, players will be able to compete for high scores against other players over Xbox Live.

While the Xbox Game Room is said to be a one-stop shop for retro titles, no exact details on the pricing or cost of the Xbox Game Room have yet to be announced.
