Mass Effect 2 PC version to arrive on time
BioWare claims both versions to ship at same time
When Mass Effect 2 was confirmed for the PC a lot of folks assumed it would be a repeat of the first Mass Effect, which arrived on the Xbox 360 long before it was finally released for the PC.
According to the latest word from BioWare, things will be different this time around; and both the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Mass Effect 2 are both on track to be released at the same time. BioWare claims that the difference between the versions has been minimized, and the same team is doing the development which should lead to both being released at the same time.
Of course, this news suggests that it is possible that the Xbox 360 version is just being ported to the PC, but this isn’t the case, according to our sources. We have to think that it is hard to say whether this will come to pass or not, but it would be nice to think that they will be able to deliver on this; but with the PC versions being delayed so many times in the past it is hard to think that things will be different, but we will just have to see what happens.
