Another surprise for Nintendo Wii owners is that Metroid will be making a return to the console with the release of Metroid: Other M.

The new chapter in the Metroid saga is being developed this time around by Team Ninja rather than Retro Studios. The Wii only title will feature a sprinkling of first and third person action control modes, with incredible graphics. Metroid: Other M will see the return of Samus Aran in the latest chapter in this outer space adventure saga.

The bad news, if there is any about this title, is that it will not arrive till 2010 but at least it will give Wii owners something to wait for.
