Rockstar has put an end to GTA V rumours which have been spreading around the intraweb like a bushfire on a hot, windy afternoon.
In a chat with Kotaku, the outfit claims there will be no wholly new retail game this year, and the only thing GTA fans can hope for are new downloadable episodes for GTA IV. So far two such episodes have been confirmed, and Rockstar's VP of prduct development, Jeronimo Barrera, described them as an experiment.
If the "experiment" proves sucessful, Rockstar could very well distribute more such downloadable episodes. There are some rumours in the next GTA game we could find ourselves driving around the busy streets of Tokyo, and what better place for a GTA game than a metropolis of 35 million.
