It was confirmed that this newly formed company faced job cuts last week, but Thomas Tippl, the company's CFO, said Blizzard will be unaffected by the process.
It's a good thing that Activision is aware of what kind of gem they have within the company, and Mr. Tippl added how there's no need to fix something that's not broken in the first place, and how Blizzard will continue to work fairly independently.
Well, knowing that this company is getting ready to unleash Starcraft, Wrath of the Lich King and Diablo 3, this is probably a good idea.
There was also some talk about Blizzard introducing Activision games in the Eastern markets, as Blizzard apparently has some nice expertise there.
