In Japan, Nintendo Wii is upholding its bestseller tradition and is still on a selling rampage. In February alone, Wii sold 331,627 unit,s while PS3 sold a measly 89,131. That’s almost a 4:1 ratio, and it’s apparently been rising since January saw Wii beat PS3 by 3:1.
Wii has kept the lead ever since this console battle started, and their strategy of offering simple yet innovative games in order to draw more people in has apparently worked. Compared to Sony and Nintendo, Microsoft is not faring that well in Japan, and they sold just 14,079 XboX 360 consoles.
