EA announced their new horror title, aptly called Dead Space. To drive their point even further, the game is coming out on Halloween, 31st October 2008. For now, we’ll only be seeing PS3 and XboX 360 versions.

The story is somewhat reminiscent of Alien movies: after visiting a huge space ship, Isaac Clarke discovers that the crew allowed an unknown species onboard. The crew is now gone, going back is impossible and you’ have yet to find any weaponry. The game promises an intense scenario with a lot of gory scenes and a claustrophobic atmosphere.
