Nintendo Co Ltd Nintendo has just announced that it will launch “Wii Fit,” a new fitness game, on December 1st, just in time for the holidays.

The game will debut in Japan and features the "Wii Balance Board," a pressure-sensing mat that resembles a set of bathroom scales to stand on.  The Wii Balance Board senses movement and when a user bends and leans, which allows players to make gaming moves such as “heading” virtual soccer balls, etc. The Wii Board is anticipated to also be useful for aerobic activities and yoga movements.
