3-way SLI might work with old SLI bridges

It appears that Nvidia's new SLI HB (High Bandwidth) technology is actually limited to 2-way SLI on the new GTX 1080/GTX 1070, while other SLI modes could be supported with older SLI bridges.

Gigabyte has released a teaser showing a shadow of what is probably the upcoming custom GTX 1080 graphics card that will be a part of Gigabyte's Xtreme Gaming lineup.

Following the announcement of first Pascal-based Geforce graphics cards, the GTX 1080 and the GTX 1070, Nvidia AiB (Add-in-Board) partners have announced their versions, all based on reference design, now known as Founders Edition.

During its pre-Dreamhack show where it announced both its new Pascal-based Geforce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards, Nvidia also showed a neat gameplay video of the upcoming Bethesda Doom game running on Vulkan API and Geforce GTX 1080.

Scores higher than overclocked GTX 980 Ti 

Just a day ahead of the rumored May 6 event where Nvidia is expected to unveil its first Geforce graphics cards based on the Pascal architecture, alleged 3DMark benchmarks of the GTX 1080 have been spotted and it performance quite well.

Finally we get a clear picture of a version of the GP104 Pascal GPU which is rumored to be the heart of the upcoming Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 graphics card, the GP104-200.

Looks real enough 

As Nvidia's next-generation Geforce graphics cards are scheduled to launch sometime around Computex 2016 show in June, it does not come as a surprise to see a couple of leaks including the latest one which shows the Geforce GTX 1080 graphics card.
