Intel will launch its Shark Bay platform for business in Q3 2013. One of the new things on offer is Intel Wireless Display 4.1 for Business. This will be a nice upgrade, as it offers more security for conference rooms.

Other features included in the new platform are Indoor LBS for Business and Intel SSD Pro that will bring encryption management with Intel SSD’s, as well as Intel SCS 9 Enhanced Platform Setup & Configuration.

The new platform supports resolutions up to 2560x1600 and enhanced KVM1. Shark Bay for vPro businesses also brings Performance accelerator for “Big Data” & Business Intelligence Applications, Intel connect Center formally known as myWiFi, secure sharing of files or screens and a better user experience in virtualized environments, allowing multiple simultaneous VMM’s.

To put it another way, Intel will have a lot of enterprise ready notebooks by the end of the year.
