Samsung has unveiled yet another, and quite surprising, addition to its tablet lineup, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Available in 16GB and 32GB versions, the new tablet packs a 7-inch PLS LCD screen and is based on Exynos chipset with a dual-core CPU.
The new Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has 193.65x122.37x9.96mm dimensions and weighs just 345g. Spec wise, it boasts and PLS LCD 1024x600 touchscreen powered by dual-core 1.2GHz CPU and 1GB of RAM. The rest of the specs include dual-band 802.11abgn WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, microSD slot, 3MP back camera with 720p and LED flash and a 2MP front one for video-calling, and a 4000mAh battery.
The new Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS backed by Samsung's own TouchWiz UI. The new Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet will be available in Indonesia and Austria as of end of October and world wide availability is expected shortly after that. Unfortunately, the price hasn't been revealed.
