Samsung's Galaxy Tab has already started shipping in select European markets, but the pricing leaves much to be desired.
The 7-inch tablet is based around a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor and it runs Android 2.2. It features 3G HSUPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and 16GB or 32GB of storage.
Unlike Apple's iPad, the Galaxy also features an SD card slot, front facing webcam and 3MP AF camera on the back, as well as flash support. Of course, it's much more compact than the iPad, as it's a 7-incher and it weighs 380g.
However, the downside is the price. A contract free version was supposed to cost €799, but Amazon.de is already shipping it at €707 after a 12 percent rebate. The shipping is free, but this does little to make it more appealing. It's simply too pricey and Samsung is not Apple.
If you think it's worth €700, you can get it here.
