Fujitsu has announced its first CULV-based thin-and-light notebook, the 11.6-inch Loox C.
It features an 1366 x 768 panel, 2GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive. It will ship either with a 1.2GHz Celeron SU2300, the cheapest CULV dual-core, or 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400 processors.
The rest of the spec is much what you'd expect from such a product. In terms of connectivity, it offers b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth. There's also a memory card reader, VGA and Ethernet. No HDMI.
It weighs 1.6kg, but it is unclear with which battery. The cheaper version will ship with a smaller battery pack and allow for 6.2 hours of runtime, while the beefier Core 2 Duo version will have a bigger battery and should pack enough juice for 9.2 hours.
Prices are expected to start at just under $900, and this a rather hefty price tag for such a device. In case you're colourblind, it will ship in black, red and blue, in late October.
