Recruitment site Monster.com might find itself in hot water after it was revealed that the company sat in information that it had been seriously hacked for five days.
In one of the biggest internet security breaches in years, hackers broke into the site's password-protected resume library and stole 1.3 million jobseekers' data.
Patrick Manzo, vice president of compliance and fraud prevention for Monster, admitted to news.com that the company knew of the problem five
days before it made the announcement.
He said that that this enabled them to spend the weekend investigating, located the hacker's servers, and got the Web-hosting company to shutthem down
