Pentax has announced two new shirt pocket size digital cameras, the Z10 and the S10. The Z10 features 7x optical zoom without having an extending lens and a sliding lens cover protects the lens from damage. It has an 8 Megapixel CCD and 52MB of built in memory.
The S10 is an even smaller mode, but it only has 3x optical zoom. The S10 features a 10 Megapixel sensor, 22MB of internal storage and a DivX movie mode that is compatible with DivX certified DVD players.
Both models features a 2.5in LCD display, SDHC memory card support, a re-chargable lithium-ion battery, digital shake reduction and face recognition.
Both models will cost US$249.99 and should be available next month.
