Apparently the move followed a tantrum in the Twitter office where Musk flung his toys out of the pram and fired a staff member because no one was reading his tweets and he was not getting enough attention.
Soon after numerous users and publications reported that their Twitter 'For You' feed is flooded with Elon Musk's tweets. One user complained that they had Musk's tweets and replies in around twenty posts. The Verge notes that while not every Twitter feed is filled with these 'all-Musk' tweets, the posts are appearing even for some accounts that don't follow him.
Musk tweeted over the weekend that he worked with the remaining engineering team and fixed the visibility issue that prevented "up to 95 per cent" of his tweets from "getting delivered at all."
Musk addressed the issue on Tuesday via his Twitter account and requested users to wait for some time. "Please stay tuned while we make adjustments to the … “algorithm”, he wrote.
