It has been a rumour for quite some time now, but the 80GB PS3 is apparently for real, well, at least as long as you live in Korea where the PS3 will finally launch next month.
It seems like Sony has decided to reward the poor Korean's that have had to wait until now to get their hands on a PS3, by giving them 80GB hard drives at no extra cost.
It might actually just be a new batch of consoles with a larger drive fitted as Sony got a better deal buyin 80GB drives over 60GB ones, but that's purely speculation.
It's a shame that the poor Korean's only get a choice of 15 launch titles though, especially considering that they have all that extra hard drives space.
